Hot Food/Cold Nights Spices Up McCoppin Hub

Fresh off its first anniversary party at Fort Mason last Friday, Off the Grid announced today the return of Saturday nights at McCoppin Hub with the first theme night: Hot Food/Cold Nights.

Unlike most Off the Grid events, this one isn't open. You'll need to purchase a $30 ticket (plus $2.64 handling fee) via Eventbrite, and space is open only to 100 attendees. Order early, because the price jumps to $35 the day of the event. But here's what you'll get: a guaranteed sampling of a featured hot and spicy dish from five select vendors, including Senor Sisig, Chaac Mool, and Tomkat. All trucks will still serve their full menus in addition to the special dishes, and the general public is welcome to play it safe with the regular fare.

For our money, nothing beats the "Senor" Sisig Burrito from Senor Sisig. But that's just us. Can you take the heat?
