Originally aiming for a spring launch, the Kati Roller food truck by Kasa Indian Eatery will start hitting Off the Grid events in mid-July with a mixture of restaurant-staple kati rolls, chai and lassis, as well as some truck-exclusive Indian street food offerings.
While the truck is built out and they managed to secure a beta spot for Square Register, owner Suresh Khanna is looking to get Public Works approval for some Financial District locations. To that end, there will be a public hearing tomorrow, June 29th at City Hall as part of San Francisco's new food truck permitting process. You can help show your support for Indian truck food in the FiDi.
