What's in a name? Brunch Box Changes Again to Fogcutter

It seems that the switch to the name Bandit Truck was a little premature, as the artist formerly known as Brunch Box has undergone another renaming. Henceforth, the truck initially launched in July by Chairman Bao and Eat Curbside veterans shall be known as Fogcutter. They mean it this time.

It's been a bit of a whirlwind as of late for the brunch and lunch truck. Earlier this month, a legal dispute with another Bay Area company forced Brunch Box to change its name, and the owners announced that they were adopting the handle to Bandit Truck. But in a surprise move, everything changed again this past Friday when the Tumblr site and Twitter name changed to Fogcutter. The reason? "We just kinda like Fogcutter better," their blog post read.

The move was confirmed by Grub Street at the Treasure Island Music Festival this weekend, where the familiar truck was sporting a copious amount of black tape masking the old name.
